Cefdinir, sold under the brand name Cempes, is an antibiotic used to treat pneumonia, otitis media, strep throat, soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, and cellulitis. It is not recommended to use this drug in case of a severe allergy to penicillin.
